Distinguishing Features: Constance has her ears pierced. She usually wears small earrings but she loves ones shaped like different animals. Her hair usually covers her earrings. They are mostly for her own enjoyment, not to show off to other people.

School Year: 5th; Constance has attended Aurora since she was a first year

Wand: fir and dragon heartstring, 10 inches, rather bendy

Pets: A small spectacled owl named Humphrey. She has a dog at home named Pepper but he's the family dog so she wasn't allowed to bring him along.

Other Items: Constance collects stuffed animals. She tries hard to leave most of her collection at her parents' house, but about a dozen always make the trip to Aurora with her. Her favorites are a small stuffed dog that looks like Pepper (and named after him) and a pink bear she's had since she was a baby, just named Bear. Constance can't sleep if Bear isn't there. The other stuffies tend to live on top of her trunk at night and on her bed during the day.

-PERSONALITY-

Likes: Art, animals, playing games, talking and hanging out with friends, bright colors (especially pink)

Dislikes: textbooks, writing long essays, people who steal ideas, games with too many rules, disagreements

Strengths: drawing, good with animals, friendly, cheerful, good at picking up information (including info she may not be meant to have)

Weaknesses: not the best judge of character, insecure, prone to changing her mind too much, can't resist cute fluffy animals of any sort, easily discouraged

Habits: twirling her hair when she's worried about something, saying “um” when she's nervous

Overall Personality: Constance is a very sweet girl but she's bad at being on her own. She grew up in a large family and prefers to be around people. She's always looking for someone to spend time with. Constance is very eager to please everyone around her and make sure everyone is happy. She hates disagreeing with people and tries to see things from everybody's point of view, often tangling up her own views in the process. She's an average student (except in Care of Magical Creatures, where she does very well). She's very concerned about what other people thing, so study groups usually involve Constance asking, “What do you think?” or “What did you get?” and not giving her own opinion very much.

Her desire to please also tends to make her nervous in classes and has ended in a few mishaps. She wants to show that she's learned a spell or a potion and gets so excited that she messes up. When she knows an answer, she often second-guesses herself and most of her answers end with, “Is that right?”

Constance's eagerness to please and to have everybody get along could get her in trouble, depending on who she ends up being friends with.

-HISTORY-

Hometown: Constance is from Winnepeg, Manitoba.

Family: Constance's parents are George and Grace Revell. George is a Muggle. He works as a postman. Grace is a witch. She works as a secretary in a magical law firm. Constance is the youngest of five children. Her siblings are:

Jill (26)--Jill attended Aurora and graduated several years ago. She attended the university as well. She graduated and became a lawyer in the same firm where Mrs. Revell works. She got married a few years ago. She and her husband have two little girls, Eve and Sarah. Constance adores her nieces.
Vivian (24)--Vivian is not magical. She attended a Muggle university and graduated two years ago. She is an elementary school teacher and is engaged to a Muggle.
Alyssa (23)--Alyssa is not magical. She is currently at a Muggle university, studying to become a nurse. She has been dating someone for several years but is not engaged yet.
Henry (19)--graduated from Aurora two years ago and chose not to go to University. He works at a magical jokes and games shop in Winnepeg and is dating a Muggleborn girl who works with him.


Overall History: Constance's family is not wealthy but they always managed to get along all right. Constance was the baby of the family. Her older siblings are all very talented and clever and her teachers in her Muggle elementary and middle schools always compared her to them. Her parents worked hard to treat all their children equally but Constance always felt they were a bit disappointed in her because she wasn't as smart or talented as her older siblings. She is closest to her brother Henry. They like playing games together. Constance also adores her little nieces, Eve and Sarah.

Constance writes home every week. She also corresponds regularly with her siblings. She goes home for the holidays to see her family every year.

Mirror of Erised: Constance's greatest desire is to make everyone proud of her, especially her parents.

Boggart: Constance hates heights and flying.

Dementor: Last summer, before her third year, Constance's oldest sister Jill brought her daughters to visit the family. Constance begged to be allowed to babysit the girls one night when Jill and her husband were planning on going out with Mr. and Mrs. Revell for dinner. Jill agreed, mostly because Henry had gone out on a date and couldn't babysit.

The night went well at first. Constance got Sarah, the younger of the two, fed and bathed and put in her crib without too much fuss. Unfortunately, as she was turning out the light on Sarah, she heard a thump from downstairs. She raced down the stairs and found her other niece, Eve, crying on the floor. The little girl had been jumping on the couch and had fallen down. She was more scared than hurt, but Constance felt horrible. She checked Eve all over for injuries and then called her sister to tell her what had happened. Jill got mad with Constance for interrupting her dinner when it wasn't really an emergency. Constance felt even more horrible. She hasn't tried babysitting again and she always makes sure that when she plays with her nieces, there's someone else around just in case something happens.

Patronus: Constance is unable to produce a corporeal patronus at this time. When she tries the spell, she uses the memory of the day she first met her first niece, but she hasn't been able to do more than produce mist.
