Overall Personality: Thomas is a good person who let his heart run wild once upon a time. Things have changed and he's still a good person, but a bit jaded now. He likes his solitude and appreciates the few friends he still has.

Hometown: Born in New Zealand and lived there during summers between school years, but moved to Ontario once graduated.
Family: Father: Gregory Raines, 63, Works in the Department of Regulation & Creation of Charms & Spells; Mother: Constance, 61, Stay at home mother/grandmother; Siblings: Younger sister named Skye. She has a 3 year old daughter, Ivory.
Overall History: The Raines family have always been a huge supporter of Albus Dumbledore and in turn, Minister of Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt, but just because the dark lord fell does not mean all his loyal followers did. Thomas' father was a bit too vocal in what was wrong and what was right. Gregory became entangled with a few of his fellow Obliviators who weren't as sympathetic of the new regime change. In the process of this Thomas' sister Skye was attacked. Needless to say that Thomas has removed himself from the family. He's never met his niece and hasn't spoken to his father in years. Thankfully he has a link to reality that always lifts his spirits, his best friend Emery.
